旅行画家 せつはやと が、世界各地の「旅から」を描く。旅行記スクラップブックも展示。

世界各地の「旅から」を描きたい。
旅の「記憶」と「重なり」をテーマに描いた作品は、私の「旅から」のリアル。
そんな「From the Travel!」を展示します。
旅の記憶は、日が経つにつれどんどん曖昧になります。
ほかの思い出と混ざってしまったり、時間が逆になったり...。
私は、そういう「上書きされ、曖昧になった思い出」こそが、ほんとうの旅の記憶だと思うのです。
貼り重ね、塗り重ねて描くのは、それを表現したいからです。
2002年に世界一周をして以来、旅のスクラップブックを作っています。
ブックを自作し、旅行中に思ったことを書きスケッチし、いろいろなものを貼り 旅をコラージュをしていくのです。
その約25年分の旅のスクラップブックも展示、手にとってご覧いただけます。
旅や作品をモチーフにデザインしたグッズなども販売。
「ロゼ活」プロジェクトに後援いただき、初夏にぴったりのロゼワインを会場でお楽しみいただけます。
この展示で、みなさんがまた旅に出たくなったり、
旅の思い出を振り返るきっかけになると、とてもうれしいです。

I want to paint from inspiration of "From the Travel".
The work with the theme of "memory" and "overlap" of the travel is the reality of my "From the Travel". I will exhibit that.
Travel memories become more and more ambiguous as the days go by.
Sometimes It mixes with other memories, and the time may be reversed...
I think that these "overwritten and ambiguous memories" are the true memories of a travel.
The reason why I paint by pasting and over-paint is because I want to express it.
Since my traveling around the world in 2002, I have been making travel scrapbooks. I hand-make the book, write what I thought during the travel, sketch, paste various things. I collage "From the Travel".
On this exhibition, Scrapbooks of the travels are also on display and you can read.
Goods designed with the motif of my travels and works will also be on sale.
With the support of the "Rose Katsu" project, you can enjoy rosé wine, perfect for early summer, at the gallely.
On this exhibition, I am very glad that you feel looking back on your memories of travel, and you want to go travel again.

旅行画家 フリーランスデザイナー
1972年 大阪生まれ湘南育ち。武蔵野美術大学卒
2002年「会社辞めたら365連休！」世界一周旅行に。サイトを作りながら、各地のいろいろをコラージュし絵を描く。
帰国後、ニフティ株式会社に入社、会社員の傍ら作品を作り続け、2013年旅の書店 青山「BOOK246」で初展示。
2014年 ブランドデザインと、オープンイノベーションの責任者に。その仕事の経験が、画家活動に大きく影響。
2019年 ライフシフト、会社勤めをやめもういちど世界一周に。
2020年より本格的に画家活動を開始、渋谷ヒカリエ8/で、個展を開催。以降毎年「＃ロゼ活」の後援で開催。
絵画に馴染みのない人にも観てもらうために、展示施設以外での展示を積極的に開催。パナソニック社（オフィス）、サイカドブリューイング（ブリューパブ）、キャリカーズトーキョウ（酒屋）など。

Born in Osaka in 1972 and raised in Shonan.
Graduated from Musashino Art University
2002 'If you quit job, 365 days become holidays!' Traveling around the world trip. Tour Asia, Europe, South America, Caribbean, North America and Oceania in 1 year. While traveling days, collage collected printed papers from various places, and sketch pictures.
2003 Returning to Japan, Joined NIFTY Corporation. While working as an in-house designer, continuing create works on the theme of travel as a personal creative activity.
2013 First exhibition of collage works at BOOK246 (Aoyama, Tokyo)
2019 Around the world trip again !
2020 Started painter activity in earnest. Solo Exhibition at Hikarie /8 (Shibuya, Tokyo),Since then, it has been held every year with the support of "Rosé Katsu" project.
Ordering to people who are not familiar with paintings to view works, Actively planning exhibitions outside of the exhibition facility.
