「新興女性企業家フォーラム2016 ～地域振興に貢献する女性企業家：コミュニティに根差したビジネスの展開可能性と挑戦～」を開催します。
2020 年までに、地球上では 8.7 億人もの女性たちが、新たに経済に参加し、新たな雇用を創出し、事業を興していくと言われています。
この多くが、経済発展著しいアフリカ、アジアの女性たちです。こうした地域で、女性企業家たちは女性特有の目線で新たなビジネスを興しています。
一方で、人口が減少し地方地域では過疎化が進んでいる日本。日本でも、新たな事業の担い手として、女性の力に期待が寄せられています。
今年はアフリカ・アジアの女性企業家 5名をお呼びして、「地域振興に貢献する女性企業家: コミュニティに根差したビジネスの展開可能性と挑戦」をテーマに、久米島、京都、渋谷ヒカリエに集います。
女性企業家たちの多くは、生活の中の身近な課題やコミュニティに根ざした事業の立ち上げに従事していることが多い傾向がみられます。
また、彼女たちは地域の声のあげられない女性たちの代弁者ともなっています。
女性だけでなく、全ての人の声が届く、持続的な事業を生み出すためのヒントを、参加者の皆さんが得る機会となることを願っています。

By 2020, it is expected that 870 million women will engage in economic activities by participating in the labour force, establishing new businesses therefore generating employment, and most of these will come from
Africa and Asia which are the regions that a drastic economic growth is expected.
There are a number of women entrepreneurs establishing businesses in these regions. Japan is also in the place where women need to take their initiatives and participate in the economy.

We invited five women entrepreneurs in Africa and Asia, and we will gather at Kumejima, Kyoto and Shibuya Hikarie under the theme of "Contribution of Women Entrepreneurs to Local Development: Possibility of Expansion and Challenges of Community Based Business".
Many women entrepreneurs tend to engage tackle with daily life issues or community based businesses. At the same time, they also represent women who cannot express their voice. We believe that this forum will bring participating individuals and organization the opportunity to cross the border and collaborate together for more diverse and sustainable future.
